Gallery

Developed a Kotlin application using REST APIs, that will display sample photos from Flickr in both a grid view and a map view. Also allows you to click on a photo and see the photo's Flickr page using a web view. Implemented fragment activities for both grid and map view. Created viewModels to access photo’s using Flickr API.
Demonstrated the use of RecyclerView for photo gallery fragment that makes use of inner classes of Holder and Adapter and implemented bottom navigation menu to toggle between map and gallery view.

Learning Portal

Developed a website to assist students with Autism in learning basic subjects including math, English, and general knowledge with 10 questions each. This project was made with Java and SQL (CRUD Operations).
Implemented APIs like Text Recognition to determine the correct spelling when a user types/writes on paper. Also created 3 quiz that was entirely based on a database and used Prime Faces for basic XHTML CSS design.
Created a platform for students to learn numbers in a text to speech format with a feature named “Number of the day” that displays the digit representation of the number as well as the word representation of the number.
Platform used to develop this project were IntelliJ and MySQL.

Breast Cancer Detection

Demonstrated leadership role by developing a project that takes scanned images of mammograms (approximate pictures 3) and extracts features using various image processing operations such as noise removal, masking and segmentation using MATLAB to observe and retrieve information to clarify breast cancer detection.
This project was built to help hospital’s efficiency in rural areas (towns with population of 10,000) for women to identify if they have breast cancer in a cost-effective manner.
